In our next interview for the B&C Zine, we’re keeping things in the family: Christopher Baker, the founder and proprietor of Baker & Company, will interview his daughter, Esther Harrison – who usually oversees the editing and management of the B&C Zine and consults on social media matters. Esther has just returned from an expedition with The Arctic Circle: an annual artist and scientist-led residency program. Established in 2009, The Arctic Circle brings together international artists from all disciplines along with scientists, architects and educators. Together, they explore the High-Arctic Svalbard Archipelago and the Arctic Ocean aboard a specially equipped expeditionary vessel. Participants engage with the myriad issues of our time, not least climate change, and develop professionally through field research, interdisciplinary collaboration, exhibition opportunities, public engagement and educational offerings.
